Sick.. UGH

I've been sick since yesterday & I think that I've caught my husband catching the flu bug. UGH MAKE IT STOP. D:

New stove incoming on Saturday! *dances*

I can't wait to finally have a working stove, since the one I have currently has been slowly going down hill for some time now. <-<;

On a personal note..

I just can't believe so many of my favorites are gone. First it started with David Bowie who passed away due to cancer. Then it was Prince soon after due to an overdose. Then on Christmas day, my favorite singer George Michael passes away due to heart complications. Same as Carrie Fisher who passed away today.

It's so hard to imagine my world without these people in it anymore. Prince who I listen to on an almost daily basis. David Bowie who I will forever see as the one true 'Goblin King', or even George Michael who's voice was like none other I'd ever heard before. All silenced. Even Carrie Fisher who's character Princess Leia was my favorite out of all the now Disney princess's due to Disney buying Star Wars from Lucas. She now too is gone. I looked up to her, as an activist & as a strong woman; to which there aren't many of. I am beyond sad today.. I just can't believe.. She's gone. ;_;

My Christmas haul

I've gotten (on Christmas Eve): clothes, cook ware utensils, pot holder, kitchen towel, a Girl Scout Barbie doll, My Little Pony FiM playing card starter pack with 2 decks, a package of Moonpies, Timmy & Tommy AC:NL amiibo, & a video game Dragon Quest HERO'S for the PS4. Along with a $10 Wal-Mart gift card, & a zipper pouch thing to put games in. All from my side of the family.

On Christmas Day when Jing & I opened up gifts at 12am & he got me a NEW 3DXL Galaxy, $10 eshop gift card, a video game Final Fantasy World for the PS4, a movie 007 Die Another Day special edition, & a Link with Ocarina amiibo. & A slightly used 2DS but it works & I am thrilled to just have another system to be able to trade myself Pokemon with when I got it. I also received another copy of Animal Crossing New Leaf, which is fine I don't mind having two towns at all tbh. We also got a Cuisinart 5 1/2 qrt pan from his sister & her family. We also were able to pool together enough cash from all of our family members to be able to purchase a new stove. Which we've since purchased as of Dec 26th. We'll be expecting it to arrive on New Years Eve (Dec 31st): woot.

Bad weather weekend, lol

Tomorrow looks to be a very cold & wet day, ugh too bad I have to go out shopping in it. Though I was invited to go to a Christmas party for Sunday, though it looks to be snowing that day too. Dood, mother nature is totally not happy about my going out. :P lol

Been playing Paper Mario lately

I've been steadily playing through Paper Mario (via WiiU VC) & was able to beat the fire Piranha Plant to make my way into the Flower Field's area. I had to go all the way back to the Rocky Ridge area to get one of the flower seeds I missed, so 3 out of 4 found before needing to open the area found wasn't so bad impo, just one trip & I was back with the seed to open the portal wide. I've since got a new party member & have already upgraded him to ultra super rank. I'm heading back to the sewers to find the super powered shoes that are down there, though I think I'll have a Blooper fight if I do that... -_-" Still, it'll be worth it before I head off to take on the boss waiting for Mario & Co in the clouds of Flower Fields.

My vacation

Was supposed to my heading to Gatlinburg, TN. But due to the fire going on & Galtinburg being closed on the week I was supposed to go, without getting refunded the money there was no way to be able to go anywhere else. So my husband & I ended up having to stay home for our vacation. I enjoyed having a short break from the internets though. xp I've been sick with a cold & have yet to get over it since I still have this stupid lingering cough. <.<;

BIG NEWS! Switch won't support amiibo.

I'm not placing this under "rumors" because I was informed by a Gamestop employee just today when trying to trade in an amiibo figure that they are no longer taking them. Why? Because the Switch will NOT support the amiibo figures. (The words of the employee not mine.)
